Garage Sale
an interactive
site-specific
installation in the elevator
“I love stuff. I love finding it, buying it and arranging it. I love saving things. I love thrift stores and junk shops and garage sales. I love the hopeful feeling rising in me as I survey a table covered with Fast and Furious dvds, Bratz dolls, pot holders and mustard jars filled with IKEA hardware. Who knows what lies beneath?
This project is about the glory of garage sales, the hope of the hunt, the zinging joy of discovery. Come and see my finds and the weird things I’ve done with them.
Come shop my Garage Sale!
Stuff and art for sale at garage sale prices!”
